On May 16, 2024, the third Multi-stakeholder Round Table of the "STRIVE for a better future: communities and civil society resilience in Armenia" project was held in Pambak, Lori Marz, RA.
The Pambak municipality supported the organization of the 3rd round table. Representatives of various sectors of Lori marz were invited to the event. Arpine Baghdoyan, “STRIVE” program director, director of Near East Foundation Armenia, presented the purpose of the round table, as well as the "STRIVE" project.
The purpose of the round table was to discuss and identify a jointly implemented project or action, which will tangibly contribute to the growth of cooperation between CSOs and other sectors. Like the previously held round tables, the joint program or action of this one will also be aimed at solving the needs of forcibly displaced people from Nagorno Karabakh.
The participants discussed and tried to formulate the identified needs and problems of different sectors while working in emergency situations. Then, during the group work, they identified the three priority problems and developed proposals for solution ideas. As a result, the groups managed to identify a joint action and build synergy for its implementation.
It should be noted that in April we held round tables with the same content in Syunik and Aragatsotn. During this year, we are planning round tables in three other marzes of the Republic of Armenia.
“STRIVE” project is co-funded by the European Union and implemented by NEF-Belgium (NEF) and four local partners: “Agate” Rights Defense Center for Women with Disabilities NGO, “Blejan” Ecological, Social, Business Support NGO, “WINNET Goris” Development Foundation and “YCCD” Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan NGO.
