On April 26, the closing event of the "Accessible sanitary and hygienic conditions for persons with disabilities" program took place.

 Within the framework of the program the following activities were successfully implemented: 

•    Repairment works of bathrooms of 7 beneficiries,  with the focus on providing accessibiliy
•    3 training-meetings aimed at enriching the knowledge of 20 women and girls with disabilities regarding menstrual hygiene and health care 
•    10 individual consultations 

During the implementation of the project, 50 easy-to-read (picture) handbooks on personal hygiene were developed and distributed to people with mental disabilities, an apartment adaptation service was created, and 50 practical guidelines on bathroom accessibility standards were developed and published.

In their speech, the beneficiaries of the project highlighted the importance of the programme  in improving the quality of life.
