On June 5, the World Environment Day, the event dedicated to the presentation of the results of the "Warm House" project took place in the Zovuni settlement of the enlarged community of Nairi. The EU Program Manager Bruno Montariol, representatives of the STRIVE program, “Improve Our Villages " NGO, and other guests were present at the event.
The Warm House program is one of 24 programs that have been approved by the STRIVE program and received funding. "Warm House" is an example of an effective cooperation between an international organization, a large CSO, a local CSO, an educational institution (kindergarten) and local government.
Within the framework of the project, a greenhouse was established next to the Zovuni kindergarten, which solves the following problems:
All parties cooperating within the framework of the project expressed their satisfaction for the effective implementation and constructive dialogue, emphasized the efforts aimed at the sustainability of the project, as well as the need and opportunities to invest in other communities as a working model.
At the end of the event, the students of the kindergarten prepared a small performance for the guests, which highlighted the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
